About DreamTree Project

The vision of DreamTree Project is that everyone in northern New Mexico have stability, support and the opportunity to follow their dreams. Their mission is to provide housing and compassionate support services to youth, adults, and families experiencing housing instability. DreamTree Project is a proud member of the National Safe Place Program: a nationwide network of designated businesses, teen centers, clinics and other organizations where youth can readily receive help in a safe, secure environment. Their Emergency Youth Shelter is open 24-7 to youth ages 12 to 17 who don't have a safe place to stay. Teens can stay as little as an hour or up to 90 days. They also have DreamTree Apartments for young adutlts ages 16 to 24 who do not have a safe place to stay. Their Case Managers help each youth to set goals and come up with steps to achieve them. They offer programs for independent life skills including cooking, shopping, budgeting and how to purchase a used car.
