Nonprofit Partners on Campus
The Village of Casitas is one of the most exciting and impactful developments on the McCurdy campus. This growing network of nonprofit partners works side by side to support families in a shared, welcoming environment. Our partners gather monthly to coordinate services, share resources, and collaborate on community events—strengthening one another’s work and expanding the support available to families. See a summary of the ever expanding village below, and click on each one to see more about their organization.

CASA First

CASA First envisions a safe, positive, and loving future for every child in our community. Through volunteer advocacy, the organization supports trauma-impacted and system-involved children and youth in Santa Fe, Rio Arriba, and Los Alamos Counties so they can be safe, build lasting connections, and thrive.
Las Cumbres Grandparents Raising Grandkids

Las Cumbres’ Grandparent Support Program walks alongside grandparents who are raising their grandchildren, honoring both the joys and challenges of this role. The program provides safe spaces, supportive resources, and meaningful conversations that nurture the well-being of both grandparents and the children in their care.
Northern Youth Project

Northern Youth Project was founded by teens in 2009 as a platform to develop skills that foster personal well-being and investment in their communities and the environment. NYP continues it mission to better the outcomes and opportunities for rural Northern New Mexico youth through hands-on art, agriculture, and leadership projects that honor the past and look to the future.
