Las Cumbres Grandparents Raising Grandkids
We are excited to have Las Cumbres’ Grandparents Raising Grandkids program in the Casita Village on McCurdy campus!
More and more grandparents are stepping into the vital role of primary caregivers for their grandchildren, and this program is here to walk alongside them. Las Cumbres honors both the joys and challenges of this journey. Through their Grandparent Support Program, Las Cumbres offers safe spaces, supportive resources, and meaningful conversations designed to nurture the well-being of grandparents and the children they care for.

About Las Cumbres Community Services
For over 50 years, Las Cumbres Community Services has been a pillar of hope and support for individuals and families across Northern New Mexico. What started as a structured program of day services for developmentally disabled adults in Los Alamos has grown into a comprehensive network of services that uplifts thousands each year—from infants to elders, from families facing crisis to individuals seeking healing and empowerment.

At the heart of Las Cumbres' mission is a deep commitment to equity, inclusion, and holistic well-being. We believe that everyone deserves access to the resources and care they need to thrive, regardless of background, ability, or circumstance. With a focus on early childhood and family support, behavioral health, and immigrant and refugee services, Las Cumbres has evolved to meet the growing and changing needs of our community.
