McCurdy Has Been Nominated for a Todd H. Bol Award for Outstanding Achievement

We are proud to announce that McCurdy Ministries has been nominated for a Todd H. Bol Award for Outstanding Achievement! The awards, named for the late founder of the Little Free Library movement, recognize volunteer stewards and supporters who make a meaningful impact in their communities by expanding access to books and fostering a love of reading.

The Little Free Library movement began in 2009 when Todd H. Bol of Hudson, Wisconsin built a small “take a book, return a book” box in honor of his mother, a lifelong educator and reader. What started as a simple act of remembrance quickly grew into something much larger as neighbors embraced the idea of sharing books freely within their communities.

Today, that idea has become a global network known as Little Free Library, with book-sharing boxes in neighborhoods, schools, parks, and community spaces around the world. We are grateful to everyone who supports and cares for the Little Free Library stops on our campus and helps keep this spirit of sharing alive.
