This is our calling here at McCurdy Ministries – to shine the light of Christ in the valley. God has stirred something incredible, for just this time, because I also struggle to find words to describe the pain, grief, loss, and hopelessness that I see in the families who are trusting us with their lives. They are not shocked by a declaration of an emergency in this community because they are living it. Yet, incredibly, they also have not lost all hope.

McCurdy Ministries is opening The Light House, a clothing pantry that serves whole families and people of all ages.

We are humbled to welcome CASA First (Court Ordered Special Advocates) to the McCurdy campus.

LEER (leh-EHR, to read), a Children’s Literacy Program for the Española Valley, aims to improve children’s reading proficiency through access to books and vetted, trained, caring adults (Reading Buddies) who read one on one with elementary students. 

I am delighted to announce the opening of the McCurdy Family Resource Center, the newest addition to McCurdy Ministries Community Center!
