McCurdy Welcomes CASA First

We are humbled to welcome CASA First to the McCurdy Family Campus!  CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) is a national nonprofit committed to being the voice for children and youth.  

CASA volunteers are trained volunteers who advocate for abused or neglected children involved in juvenile court proceedings. They act as the judge's "eyes and ears" for children in foster care. Their advocacy aims to ensure children are safe, have permanent homes, and can thrive.  Now, there will be a CASA office here in Española, where the need is great.  They have created a cozy living room, a child resource room with toys and comfort items, and an office in our Development Casita!
